Unboxing and design

AOC presents the product to us in a box with a very compact and very heavy format so that the setting at home is perfect.

Once we open the box we find the following inside :

The viewing angles of the monitor are not impressive as it incorporates a TN panel. Although we have great benefits as we do not have light leaks and the blacks are outstanding.

Although it does not have an IPS panel, we recommend that you calibrate the monitor via hardware, but if you cannot afford a calibrator, you can always try it via software.

Among its rear connections, we have an HDMI connection, a DisplayPort 1.2, and another D-SUB (VGA of all life). As expected we have a plug for power and operation.

AOC has chosen to leave the power supply internally. We would have liked to see outside because this way we avoid that overheats the panel and all internal PCB.

As we have already told you in the introduction, the monitor incorporates the AMD Free-Sync technology: Its operation is quite simple since it allows the scenes to be faster, fluid, and more pleasant when we are playing. We really notice it when we play at maximum performance
